Mental tension as an indicator of emotional well-being in athletes of different ages

Abstract
The article focuses on the peculiarities of the formation of the emotional culture of athletes of adolescence and youth. The level of their mental stress is the main indicator of the well-being of young athletes entering the social environment. The features of the formation of the phases of emotional burnout in adolescent and adolescent boys and girls were considered. It was found that in both studied age groups the phases of resistance and exhaustion are at the stage of formation. Differences were also found in the manifestations of individual burnout symptoms in the male and female sample, taking into account age. In the male sample, burnout symptoms are more pronounced with age than in the female.
