Abstract
The issues of psychological training management of highly qualified sambo wrestlers are considered. The model for managing the psychological training of highly qualified sambo wrestlers has been formed, taking into account their individual mental characteristics to ensure the optimal level of their readiness for competitions. The management process is built on the basis of the dynamics of the change in the state of the sambo wrestler psychological readiness, revealed during psychodiagnosis tests within the framework of stage and current control in the transforming and implementation mesocycle of the pre-competition period.
