Fundamentals of special power training of students of non-profile universities

Abstract
The need for the development of the field of physical culture and sports to achieve a high level of health and physical abilities of university students is presented. The fundamentals of special strength training are put forward as an aspect of physical culture that is important for students. Describes the impact of exercises that include strength training. Purpose - consideration of the problems of strength training of students of non-core universities, introduction of the foundations of special strength training in physical culture and sports classes and analysis of their effectiveness. Next, an experiment is conducted with the participation of 92 students with a methodology presented in 3 stages. The first is the division of students into control and experimental groups. The second is to prepare a lesson plan for both groups. The third is to carry out the planned sessions. According to the results of the experiment, it was revealed that in the experimental group muscle mass was increased more effectively, weight was lost, health was strengthened and well-being improved. Thus, it was proposed to introduce the basics of special strength training in each non-core university and thereby significantly improve the quality of life of students, their health and physical abilities.
