Study of shooting training efficiency of qualified female biathletes from the Tyumen region

Abstract
The authors investigate the problem of qualified female biathletes’ shooting training caused by a contradiction between the accumulated scientifically substantiated tools and methods and the marksmanship means used in practice. The article presents the research results aimed at assessing the shooting skills quality of qualified female biathletes from the Tyumen region. The study involved seven biathletes of the region national team. Based on the analysis of documentary sources and a survey, a qualitative and quantitative assessment of shooting effectiveness was given. Performance reducing factors and directions of its optimization were revealed.
