Abstract
The aim of the study is to identify the ways of forming the managerial and predictive competence among the cadets of the military higher educational institution. The article reveals the method for the formation of managerial and predictive competence among the future officers by simulating the risk situations. The terminological component of the concepts "risk", "risk situation" is disclosed. The practice of using imitation of risk situations in vocational education has been analyzed. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the proposal of a new method of forming managerial and prognostic competence in students, which was not previously implemented in military vocational education. The key areas of military education are highlighted, in which the use of imitation of risk situations is most appropriate and effective. The main stages of resolving risk situations with the development of an algorithm for making a decision by the subject of training are revealed. It is proved that the imitation of risk situations has a positive effect on the quality level of the formation of the managerial and predictive competence of the officer corps in the learning process.
