Abstract
Introduction. With low or deep vision pathology among the adolescents, the decrease in functional and motor development is revealed, dysfunction of coordination of movements is noted, in contrast to the healthy adolescents. To date, the specifics of the development, education, and upbringing of children with visual impairments, mainly of primary school age, have been studied, and little research has been carried out in relation to the adolescents of 14-15 years old. Although it is this age that needs the close attention of teachers and scientists. Purpose of the research: to theoretically and experimentally substantiate the use of the experimental methodology of playing basketball for the development of coordination abilities of adolescents with visual pathology. Material and methods: The pedagogical experiment was carried out from October 14, 2019 to February 25, 2020 on the basis of MBOU gymnasium No. 5, Krasnogorsk city district, Moscow region. In our experiment, 20 adolescent girls of 14-15 years old took part, 10 people each in the control (CG) and experimental (EG) groups. All participants in the experiment belong to the visually impaired group. Methods: scientific and methodical literature analysis, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics, analysis and generalization of the results. Results of the research: The results of the study of height and weight in girls indicate overweight, in boys it is normal. The average indicators of blood pressure and heart rate in boys and girls before the load are normal, and under the influence of the load increase. Conclusions: As a result of the studies, it was found that the use of experimental complexes of exercises for the development of coordination abilities in training sessions made it possible to achieve among the adolescents with the visual pathology higher significant increase in the level of indicators, characterizing the coordinating abilities in comparison with the group of adolescents, who trained according to the traditional method. This improvement in indicators proves the effectiveness of using the developed methodology for the development of coordination abilities in adolescents with visual pathology.
Keywords: adolescents with visual impairments, physical fitness, coordination abilities.
