Abstract
In the article, the authors consider the modern approach to assessment based on the system of criteria-based assessment of the formative and ascertaining type and the effectiveness of its implementation in educational practice. This study is organized within the framework of the direct pedagogical activity of the authors of the study when conducting classes in economics, economic theory, macro and microeconomics, regional economics and physics. For the initial and final diagnosis, the method of identifying the subjective attitude of students to the educational institution was used (author O. I. Kochetkova V. A. Yasvin, modification of Zh. B. Litvinova).
