The pedagogical experiment revealed the importance of mini-football for the effectiveness of building up the educational process in physical culture. The conducted comparative analysis showed that the training effect of mini-football with weekly two-day classes for two years is higher than with general physical training. The method of determining the physical fitness of students studying in the specialty "Football" is presented. The results of the study allowed us to come to the conclusion about the effectiveness of introducing mini-football in the educational program in the discipline "Physical Culture". It is demonstrated that mini-football classes provide an increase in the level of physical fitness of students.
