Consequences of the 2020 pandemic in the sports industry

Abstract
The article examines the consequences of the economic crisis associated with the pandemic in the sports industry in Russia and other countries of the world. The analysis of economic losses of the world sports industries is given, the state support of the sports industry in different states is studied. The authors point out the appearance of positive aspects in the physical culture and sports life of the population during this period, and also give recommendations for eliminating the shortcomings of the activities of state sports bodies. State structures should give way to business in the industrial sports industry, introduce tax incentives to attract investment, and make the sports market transparent. According to the authors, this will maximize the quality and volume of sports services provided to the population, as well as increase the number of users.
