Abstract
The article deals with the problems of physical culture education among students of higher educational institutions in the process of out-of-class sports work. The pedagogical process of upbringing the physical culture of students of higher educational institutions in the process of extracurricular sports-mass work occurs due to the implementation of all components of the pedagogical system with a fixed result, in the process of which the student's personality develops. Educational invariants of personality development became the substantiation of scientific and methodological recommendations for the education of students' physical culture in the process of extracurricular sports-mass work. These invariants have been applied by us in order to educate the physical culture of university students in the process of extracurricular mass sports work and can be used in the design of the educational environment of universities in the Russian Federation.
