Abstract
The article is devoted to the description of psycho-correction work aimed at coping with emotional distress in women who are raising children with autism spectrum disorders. The results of a ascertaining experiment aimed at studying the features of the emotional sphere of mothers of children with ASD in the context of two important socio-demographic characteristics-age and type of employment. Based on the experimental data, a number of recommendations were developed for the study participants, which can be divided into two groups: recommendations for representatives of each of the groups of subjects in which signs of emotional distress were detected; a General program of psychological support for all. Special attention is paid to the scientific and theoretical justification of the choice of approaches to optimizing the emotional sphere of mothers of children with ASD.
