Abstract
In order to form kinesthetic sensations and the ability to accurately assess the parametric indicators of the conditions of a shot under water, a methodology has been developed for teaching initial shooting skills using special preparatory means. The professionally significant qualities influencing the effectiveness of training underwater swimmers to shoot underwater from firearms have been determined. A new scientific result has been obtained – a methodology for teaching shooting underwater has been developed, which includes training stages, their certain sequence, logical connections between stages and modeling of conditions corresponding to the characteristics of professional activity.
Keywords: divers, underwater shooting, professionally significant qualities.
