Abstract
The survey of students from the 1st to 4th courses with specialization of the adaptive physical culture of the Smolensk State Academy of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism was conducted in order to study the features of the organization of the educational process in higher educational institutions of physical culture and sports. As a result of the study, the introduction of innovative technologies (using the example of training testing) in the educational process was revealed. This will allow students to form a need for independent development of new knowledge and forms of professional activity, the ability and readiness to work with people with disabilities, and ultimately will help in the training of highly qualified, professionally competent and socially mature specialists in the field of adaptive physical culture.
