Physical state of transport university students

The changed socio-economic conditions in Russia make the problem concerning the physical health of a university graduate more urgent. The paper presents the results of studies of the peculiarities of the physical condition of students enrolled in a transport university. The revealed physiological characteristics and the factors determining them made it possible to determine the main directions of the program to optimize the psychophysical state of students. The practical significance of the research lies in the data obtained on the basis of a comparative analysis, which can be used in the work of teachers, on the one hand, as measures to preserve the health of students, and on the other, as measures to increase the effectiveness of the educational process in physical culture.
