Abstract
The authors propose, based on the use of a twelve-bar model, to estimate the moments of inertia of the attacked athlete relative to the axis of rotation during the execution of the sumi-otoshi throw. The magnitude of the moment of inertia of the head, the right shoulder, right forearm, right hip decreases. The magnitude of the moment of inertia of the remaining body segments fluctuates. The general moment of inertia of the attacked athlete relative to the axis of rotation is also oscillatory. Different values of the moments of inertia can be used when searching for an individual athlete's technique and developing new technical actions. Oscillations in the moment of inertia can be used when building a tactical battle plan.
