Abstract
The article is concerned with areas and methods of improving the weapons training of reconnaissance troops of the Russian Armed Forces. In particular, the changes in the regulatory framework for assessing the weapons training level of personnel of the reconnaissance units, which are based on check test standards (standards for instructors and trainers in practical shooting) of Practical Shooting.
