This article reflects the main points of competitive activity in basketball 3x3 and highlights the features of this activity of basketball players of mass categories. In the course of the study, the tasks of identifying the dependence of the statistical indicators of the players on the result of the team's performance were solved, and methodological recommendations for improving the training of athletes in basketball 3x3 were formed. As a result of the work carried out, the most significant statistical indicators have been established, which have a greater impact on the final result of the teams' performance. Teams with lower rates of implementation of shots for a field goal perform these shots with active resistance of the opponent. The basketball player can improve the position for the execution of the throw through his own individual actions or team tactical interactions. The obtained data will contribute to the most effective correction of the training process of basketball players, which will further improve the effectiveness of the players' competitive activity.
