Abstract
Monitoring of the physical condition of the student youth is important in identifying the deficiencies and timely correction of the didactic material disciplines of physical and sports orientation. The aim of the study was to identify the level of physical development of students. Methodology and organization of the study: the physical condition monitoring was carried out at the sports base of the Academy of Public Development, which was attended by 4 course students of the Faculty of Educational Programs in the number of 78 people (65 girls and 13 young men). We evaluated the anthropometric indices: Ketle, Broka-Beckert, IBMC, obesity, Pinier, waist/thigh. The data obtained were ranked according to the standardized methods. Study results and their discussion: the study revealed the tendency to overweight among the young men under the predominantly hyperstenic physique, while among the female gender group, the reliable lack of body weight under the normative physique was reliably identified. This bias is confirmed by almost all anthropometric indices, especially in the male gender group. Conclusions: the need to correct pedagogical influences in physical and sports activities at the Department of Physical Culture of the Academy of Public Administration has been revealed. It is recommended that boys should be included in the training sessions of the aerobic activity to adjust their overweight and additional exercises for the girls to increase muscle mass.
