Abstract
The paper aims to find out the influence of physical activity decrease in the conditions of the coronavirus infection communication on physical fitness and criteria of morphological and functional development of students. We found that the level of general physical fitness decreased the most among young males compared to females. As for the boys, the results of such motor skills tests as running at the distance of 100 m and 1000 m and pull-ups on a high bar significantly worsened. The girls showed a significant negative change in the results of 100-meters dash and tilting the body forward from a standing position on a gymnastic bench. There was also a decline in most morphological and functional development criteria in students of both sexes.
