Abstract
The work considers issues of positive ethnic identity formation among students of 6-7th and 9-10th grades in the context of studying the problem of interethnic tolerance formation. The procedural components of ethnic identity are expounded. The work determine the expression of cognitive and affective components among schoolchildren of various ethnic groups as long as emphasis the significant role of the behavioral component. It is indicated that under the condition of a carefully constructed educational environment and the process of education, it is possible to correct psychophysical maladaptation through physical exercises, affecting the behavioral component.
