Moral consciousness of students: psychological essence and development opportunities

Abstract
Currently, there are many psychological concepts for the study of moral consciousness, but scientists are faced with the inconsistency of this phenomenon. The article identifies the conditions for the development of students' moral consciousness. The analysis of scientific psychological and pedagogical literature, synthesis and generalization. The experiment involved 116 students from universities in the city of Ryazan. The concept of moral consciousness has been clarified; the distribution of students according to the level of development of moral consciousness has been carried out. The features of the analysis of moral consciousness from the point of view of foreign and Russian psychologists are outlined.
