Preparation of sports reserve in sailing: results and conclusions of sociological study

Abstract
The article considers some results of the sociological study related to research of system of preparation of sports reserve in sailing in the Russian Federation. Objective of the study was to analyze the state of system of preparation of sports reserve yachtsmen in the context of identifying areas for upgrading their technical and tactical skills. Results: the authors implemented the analysis of practice of using modern information technologies in the training process of sports reserve yachtsmen, studied the process of their training in modern tactical techniques and analyzed some aspects of development of special physical qualities in athletes. Conclusion: innovative sports technologies of training yachtsmen related to the use of information and analytical systems for registration the location and movement of yachts are rarely used by Russian coaches in the process of training of sports reserve. In the training process of sports reserve yachtsmen, attention is being given only to some part of tactical techniques used in sailing, restraining growth of technical and tactical skills of athletes. Much attention is paid to development of physical qualities necessary for the successful performance of technical elements and tactical techniques by sports reserve yachtsmen, but individual sets of exercises based on physiological and psychological characteristics of specific athletes are not always selected.
