Abstract
The article discusses the possibility of ensuring the health of children and the success of their adaptation to schooling. Out-of-school SAMBO lessons are proposed as a means of preserving health. The dynamics of the level of the adaptive potential of children was studied using the example of primary schoolchildren of 9-10 years old in the course of a weekly cycle of classes. In the context of the need to ensure health preservation and successful adaptation to schooling of primary school age children, the use of out-of-school sambo as a type of physical culture and sports activity has significant potential for solving these problems, especially in the case of organized monitoring of the dynamics of the adaptive potential of trainees. The study of the dynamics of the adaptive potential of primary schoolchildren of 9-10 years old shows that they have a tension of adaptation mechanisms as a result of sambo lessons, which indicates a pronounced training effect of these lessons in children. At the same time, it is easiest for schoolchildren to transfer training loads in the middle of the weekly training cycle.
