The study is devoted to determining the role of communicative competence in the awareness and confidence of fitness trainers in their professional viability, the criteria of which were self-efficacy indicators. The total sample was 102 fitness trainers and they were divided into two clusters by using Ward cluster analysis. The first cluster consists of 41 people (71% of women, 29% of men), the second cluster is 61 people (36% of women and 64% of men). In the first cluster, the problems of communicative competence are more pronounced than in the second cluster.
