Abstract
Introduction. Modern higher education has found itself under the pressure of social circumstances due to the spread of coronavirus infection. The article reveals the question of the psychological and pedagogical influence of the teacher on the anxiety of students during the pandemic in the context of distance learning. Purpose of the study. To reveal the effectiveness of the methodology of psychological and pedagogical influence of the teacher on the anxiety of students in the course of distance learning. Research methodology and organization. 60 people took part in the study of the effectiveness of the methodology of psychological and pedagogical influence of the teacher on the anxiety of psychology students. To diagnose the level of anxiety of students, the following methods were used: Spielberger-Khanin, J. Taylor and A.M. Prikhozhan. Research results. The methodology aimed at changing (centering) the level of anxiety among the students in the course of distance learning is an effective means of changing its level. The performed diagnostics showed increase in the number of students with the average level of anxiety, on average by 0.55 times. The significance of this result is confirmed by the method of mathematical statistics. Conclusions. The proposed methodology made it possible to increase the proportion of students with the average level of anxiety by average of 55%.
