Abstract
The article analyzes the status of the number of participants in the category "A" tournaments in Hapsagai wrestling for 2017-2019. The reasons for the current situation are being worked out and in the light of the latest changes in the rules for free-style wrestling, there are approximate ways out of it. We consider it necessary to apply the tendency of reducing physical activity of high intensity in the rules of wrestling competitions to the rules of the “Hapsagai” wrestling competition. We propose to limit the competition day to eight hours in the "Hapsagai" wrestling. To spend two days, including into this period the time for weighing, lunch, solemn ceremony and awarding in order to meet the specified time frame, to improve the system of direct elimination existing in the current rules of wrestling "Hapsagai".
This article may be useful for specialists in sports and national wrestling.
