University students physical culture under the conditions of distance learning

The article details the topical issues of physical culture in universities and the importance of nonspecific physical education in improving the quality of training. The tasks of physical culture education at the present stage of development of higher education are specified, its role in the individualization of the learning process is investigated. There is a need for the development and methodological recommendations for organizing the systematic conduct of self-study, as a suitable process for preparing students in universities and involving them in regular physical exercises. On this basis, the author's own research results show the importance of physical culture education in the context of distance learning in universities.
