Abstract
Introduction-the article is devoted to the problem of formation of cognitive activity of cadets of higher education institutions of the Federal penitentiary service of Russia in the course of independent training. The purpose of the study is to study and test the pedagogical conditions that contribute to the formation of cognitive activity of cadets in the course of independent training. Methodology and organization of the study – 100 cadets of the Academy of the Federal penitentiary service of Russia (Ryazan) took part in the study. To determine the level of cognitive activity, the following methods were used: T.D. Dubovitskaya, methods of A.A. Rean and V.A. Yakunin, assessment of experts from the faculty, analysis of academic performance. Research results and discussion-the effectiveness of the proposed pedagogical conditions that contribute to the formation of cognitive activity of students of higher education institutions of the Federal penitentiary service of Russia in the course of independent training is proved. Conclusions-the following pedagogical conditions will contribute to the formation of cognitive activity of students of higher education institutions of the Federal penitentiary service of Russia during independent training: students study the principles of planning their own time; the work of training groups during independent training in the format of the interactive game; the individual pedagogical support of cadets during independent training.
