Abstract
We have analyzed the textbooks and manuals on physical culture for University students from 2015 to 2020, their availability on the Internet. The study showed that many manuals are simply presented in electronic form and do not meet the modern requirements of the e-book, they do not have built-in audio and / or video applications, digital literature, animated GIF files. At the same time, 43% of educational literature is presented only in the form of the textbook annotation, which practically makes it inaccessible to the target student audience. The novelty of the research is the study of digital components in the educational literature for students. PE teachers need in developing the electronic manuals that meet the new standards of higher education and digital pedagogy, including links to websites on physical culture and sports, digital health programs, and mobile applications.
Keywords: digitalization, textbooks and manuals on physical culture, students, availability of information, new format for the type and presentation of information on physical culture.
