Introduction. The maximum running speed is a productivity factor at many sports, especially in soccer. Speed is hardly given in to training, therefore, it is important to pay attention to its development in so-called "the sensitive period". Research objective was determination of the running step parameters in running start at boys of 10-11 years old playing soccer. Technique and research organization. In researching 21 boys took part at the age of 10-11 years. Young soccer players carried out run at a distance of 30 meters from high start. Kinematic parameters were estimated by means of the “Optojump Next” technology. Results of research. Speed increase from 3.44±0.31 m/s at the first step to 6.10±0.45 m/s at the 13th step because of increasing in steps’ length from 51.7±16.08 cm to 147.8±14.30 cm is established. Frequency of steps varied in the small range: from 4.11±0.29 to 4.31±0.31 per second step. Time of flight increased from 0.044±0.017s at the first step to 0.098±0.019s at the 15th step. Time of the support was reduced with 0.181±0.018s at the first step to 0.145±0.014s to the tenth step.
