Experience in introduction of the subject "basics of Self-defense" into the system of preparation of bachelors

Abstract
This article describes the experience of introducing the discipline "Basics of self-defense" into the system of training of the bachelors in the Volga State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports. The purpose of the research is to study the experience of developing the training course "Fundamentals of Self-Defense" of the Volga State Academy of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism and its implementation in the training system of physical education universities. The study involved 565 students, of whom 362 were boys and 203 were girls. They represented the following sports: basketball, boxing and taekwondo, wrestling, volleyball, gymnastics, rowing, skiing, swimming, acrobatic rock and roll, synchronized swimming, football, hockey. It is necessary to note the increase in students' motivation and professional interest in the pedagogical and coaching activities, based on the systematization of the means and methods of basic sports training by using the key didactic modules.
