Planning of powerlifters’ speed-strength load within the annual macrocycle at the stage of specialized basic preparation

Abstract
At present, the matter of dynamic effort method effectiveness in the system of long-term planning of powerlifters’ training remains insufficiently studied. The aim of the research is to determine the structure of optimal distribution of training load, taking into account the use of dynamic efforts method in the “speed” mesocycles of the annual macrocycle at the stage of specialized basic training in powerlifting. 16 athletes took part in the experiment: 8 of them in the control group and 8 in the experimental one with CMS qualifications, practicing at the “sport skills improvement stage”. Barbell velocity during the lift was measured using a photoelectronic device based on a transmitter (optical quantum generator), a photodetector, and a recorder. It has been established that the use of dynamic efforts method in the form of two “speed” mesocycles for six weeks during a calendar year at the sport skills improvement stage allows maintaining positive dynamics of powerlifters’ competitive result growth throughout the year when more gentle loads are used in terms of volume and intensity.
