Abstract
The article deals with the personal characteristics of cadets who differ in their specialization in military professional activities. At the same time, it was revealed that the dynamics of motor abilities development correlates with personality characteristics, which necessitates a differentiated approach in the system of physical training. In general, the material presented showed that the personality traits of cadets differ in accordance with their specialization in military professional activity. At the same time, the personality traits of cadets determine individual differences in the dynamics of the basic motor abilities development.
