Today in Russia there is a significant increase in the number of snowboarders at sports schools and commercial ski clubs. Technical training of snowboarders is the leading factor and it is based on high level of mastering the basic movements. Confident mastery of the basic elements of snowboarding technique has a significant impact on the efficiency of mastering the future complex of the coordination movements. At the same time, for the young snowboarders, there has been no scientifically grounded method of teaching snowboarding techniques in the scientific and methodological literature so far. In this regard, there is a need to use the country's experience of working with novice snowboarders to transform it into practical recommendations, necessary for physical education and sports personnel, being engaged in snowboarding training. The article summarizes the pedagogical experience of the leading snowboarding coaches in the Russian Federation, reviews the main technical training tools used in snowboarding, and gives specific recommendations for choosing the most effective exercises.
