In the context of the pandemic and the lack of opportunities to conduct the training camps abroad on glaciers, it was necessary to look for the alternative ways to improve the technical and tactical readiness of the athletes. This article discusses the use of the ski simulator SkyTecSport in the snowless period. The purpose of the study: to evaluate the effectiveness of the simulator for the development of technical and tactical readiness of the senior skiers aged 14-15 years. Organization of the research. In the experimental group, one session was replaced with the training session by using SkyTecSport. A set of 17 exercises was developed for the simulator. At the beginning and end of the experiment, the athletes of the experimental group were tested on the simulator, which consisted in determining the maximum knee angulation. Also, to evaluate the results of the experiment, three control training sessions were conducted for both groups. Research result. Analyzing the measurement of angulation in the experimental group, we see that athletes significantly (p <0.05) improved the results after the experiment. The results of control training show that on average, the athletes of the experimental group were faster by 0.45 seconds in the giant slalom and by 0.85 seconds in the slalom. Conclusion. The use of a set of exercises on SkyTecSport is effective for improving the technical and tactical readiness of 14-15-year-old alpine skiers.
