The article considers the problem associated with the arrival of the child into the primary school, with the restructuring of the entire system of student relations with reality. For this purpose, the indicators of the development of the psychological, emotional, physical state of primary school children, influencing on the formation of physical culture of the personality of primary schoolchildren, were investigated as an integrative indicator of their readiness to learn at school. In the course of the study, the results of psychosocial, adaptive states and health of the first-graders in the city of Khabarovsk and the Lazo district of the Khabarovsk Territory were obtained. A two-stage comparative analysis of psychoemotional states and physical fitness of children in the city of Khabarovsk in comparison with rural children showed that the results obtained reliably indicate the advantages of children in the city, which affects their success in the process of learning at primary school.
