Abstract
For many decades, the domestic scientists and researchers have been raising the issue of the urgency of the problem of drug abuse by adolescents. Every year, the indicators characterizing the level of drug abuse among the younger generation are presented, psychological and social prerequisites are well studied, the reasons affecting the use of illegal substances, modern ways of countering adolescent drug addiction are proposed. And the study of the current regulatory legal acts in the field of combating drug trafficking allows us to attest to the fact that the legislation of the Russian Federation is continuously focused on improving measures of combating drug trafficking and their successful implementation. It would seem that all the conditions have been created for an effective system of preventive activities by all participants in this process. However, to date, the statistics of drug users suggest the opposite. The purpose of this article is to study and analyze the relationship of modern adolescents (after the example of students of secondary professional organizations in St. Petersburg) to the problem of drug abuse. The results of this study will allow employees of the internal affairs bodies to adjust preventive activities taking into account the current ideas and the specifics of the needs of modern adolescents. At the same time, the actualization of information about the attitude of adolescents to the problem of drug abuse and the timely presence of a police officer in an educational organization creates the effect of «the onset of real consequences» for students.
Keywords: prevention of drug addiction, educational prevention, addictive behavior, effect of “the onset of real consequences”.
