Common figures in arsenal of basic technique of program in sports ballroom dance

Abstract
The World Dance Sport Federation Syllabus and the list of basic figures of All Russian Federation of Dance sport and Acrobatic Rock’n’roll are updated by new and taken figures. In the current study a number of the figures common to more than one dance if defined. Groups of similar figures, technical elements and their structural analogues are presented in the tables. Slow Waltz, Slowfox and Quickstep have the biggest number of common figures.
