Abstract
The aim of the study was to study the characteristics of the properties of the nervous system and the psycho-functional state of power athletes in the preparatory period. The results of the studies found that the difference in specializations in power sports is associated with a difference in the properties of the nervous system. All manifestations of the properties of the nervous system are tied to the specific activities of weightlifters, powerlifters and weight lifters. The established factors can be used as a means of correcting the psycho-functional state of athletes in the preparatory period and leveling the negative phenomena of training.
Keywords: weightlifting, powerlifting, kettlebell sport, psycho-functional state, nervous system.
