Abstract
In older people, as a result of partial loss from the sphere of life support of labor, educational and household activities, the circle of motivational and value-need sphere is significantly narrowed. According to objective biological and subjective anthropomorphic processes in the body of the elderly, there are violations of the mechanisms of self-regulation of energy and plastic exchange and the processes of processing and transmitting information at different levels of life support. Despite the decline in their psychophysical and social functions, older people remain carriers of both professional knowledge and cultural traditions that are necessary for the socio-cultural development of society. To keep the psychosomatics of older people in a state of dynamic balance, physical culture and support program has been developed and implemented in the educational activities of the public health clubs, which creates favorable socio-cultural conditions for the transition of the elderly person's personality to the zone of immediate development.
