Abstract
It is necessary to use the statistical tools to get the objective assessment of volleyball players' actions on the court. Statistical analysis is an important aspect of improving the team performance [1]. One of the most important elements of volleyball is serving [2]. The quality of this element directly affects the team's ability to score break points. This article provides the statistical analysis of serving quality of the players of the professional volleyball team "Academy-Kazan" in Russian championship 2019/2020 by evaluating the quality of reception by the rival teams players. The presented method of calculating the integral efficiency of serving quality gives more objective picture of the player’s contribution to the team serving performance in comparison with the standard performance indicators of serving used in the statistical programs.
