Abstract
This article presents the content of the methodology of tactical and technical training of hockey players aged 9-10 years, based on the solution of situational tasks by young players. As a result of empirical research, it is established that to improve the effectiveness of individual game actions of hockey players at the initial stage of training, it is important to study techniques of different complexity in situations close to the game conditions, focusing on the perception of the initial game conditions and the choice of rational means of conducting sports in accordance with the visual and informational images of movements. The article reflects the results of research of mental processes, technical and tactical-technical (game) readiness of young hockey players. Along with the main results, the relationship between psychophysiological indicators and the results of evaluating the competitive activity of the subjects was established.
