Study of prevalence of inversions of sexual somatotypes in women's sports gymnastics

The article presents the results of the research devoted to the study of the presence of inverse sexual somatotypes in puberty and adolescent girls involved in gymnastics. It has been established that with increase in sports experience, volume, frequency and intensity of physical activity, as a result of adaptation, a significant part of young athletes forms transitional (mesomorphic) and inverse (andromorphic) sex somatotypes, with masculinization phenomena.
