Abstract
The article reflects the problem of the optimal education of motor abilities among the track and field athletes at the initial training stage. During the observation of the training process, it was revealed that insufficient attention was paid to coordination abilities. Means aimed at the development of motor abilities are narrow and unidirectional. We suggested that the use of the sets of exercises performed on the technical training equipment for the conjugate development of motor abilities will increase physical fitness. A pedagogical experiment was organized and conducted. After the experiment, it was possible to identify the significant improvements in power, speed and coordination abilities.
Keywords: track and field, initial training, training process, complex education, coordination abilities.
