Introduction. In modern conditions the higher education system is modified. On the basis of Federal state educational standard of the higher education on discipline "Physical culture and sport" elective courses on physical culture were entered. Introduction of these courses suggests the student to determine the direction of sports preparation in physical culture independently. This approach allows trainers and teachers to make careful selection when completing sports groups for participation in the Universidad. However, today teams in boxing are not created as in higher educational institutions of the Republic of Bashkortostan students have no possibility of holding educational and training classes within discipline in physical culture and sport. In this regard, there is a need to conduct purposeful sports training of the students capable for achievement of high sports result. A research objective – to analyze introduction of an elective course in boxing within educational process at students. Technique and organization of the research. The research was conducted on the basis of the Bashkir state university from 2018 to 2020, 30 students of group of initial preparation who do not have the sports category participated in the research. For identification of efficiency of boxing classes within an elective course at students, the program NS-Psychotest complex (Neyrosoft, Ivanovo, for a research of psychophysiological motive abilities (simple visual and motor reaction, choice reaction) was used. The chosen tests are focused on specialized qualities of boxers. Results of a research and their discussion. As a result of the conducted research at students of experimental group time significantly was reduced: simple visual and motor reaction (239.02±1.14 – prior to an experiment and 218.7±1.12 – after) and choice reaction (352.2±1.01 – prior to an experiment and 334.1±1.01 – after). Conclusions. The obtained data confirm about efficiency of introduction of an elective course on boxing in educational process at students. Holding educational and training occupations within educational process at students, will allow optimizing both preparation for competitions, and participation in them.
