Abstract
This article describes the influence of mental methods on the technical training of acrobats at the stage of initial training, engaged in women's groups. Sports acrobatics is a sport that involves performing complex acrobatic elements and their combinations. The use of mental methods in short-term movements will allow the expansion of motor potential, and more complex motor movements will be formed on their basis. The inclusion of mental methods in the training of young acrobats, while mastering acrobatic elements, can improve the process of learning technical actions and increase the reliability of the performance. The practical significance of the study is reflected in the research tasks implemented during the experimental work: the effectiveness of using mental methods in technical training of acrobats at the initial training stage is determined.
