Abstract
The article outlines the conceptual provisions that provide step-by-step control of coordination abilities based on the differentiated approach. The scientific and methodological justification of the process of complex assessment of coordination abilities at various stages of sports training is considered. The obtained results indicate that at the stage of initial specialized training, when assessing the initial level of development of coordination ability, it is necessary to diagnose basic coordination abilities. In addition, assessments of coordination abilities should be taken into account when implementing sports selection technologies at various stages of training.
