Justification of the professional education content of the employees of internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation

It is well known that the last and solving word in any activity belongs to people, carrying out it, features of their personality and preparation. For this reason, the success of passable reform of system of law-enforcement bodies is in rigid dependence on overall performance with staff and training level for service in divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The article examines the content of professional police officers activity and its relationship with the vocational education system in the Russian Interior Ministry, with the requirements of the state and society to their activities. Developed classifications of the main activities of law enforcement officers and their characteristics have been shown. The content of each activity direction is presented. The content of vocational education of the staff of the internal affairs of the Russian Federation has been justified taking it into account.
