Abstract
The article describes the study of the psychological indicators of leaders in the team of young volleyball players, with the goal of identifying and correcting possible interpersonal and individual communicative characteristics to increase the overall game result. The purpose of this article: through the sociometric survey, formulate the solution and present individual exercises for correcting personal qualities. The objectives of our study were as follows: to identify the level of cohesion and interpersonal relations of the sports team of volleyball players; according to the recommendations of the psychologist, conduct classes on the formation of cohesion and the formation of positive interpersonal relationships, individual communication abilities, etc. The hypothesis of the study was the assumption that competition of clear leaders interferes with the overall result, violates the overall cohesion, and prevents the formation of individual stress resistance; individual exercises with leaders will make it possible to change positively personal communicative characteristics, increase the level of cohesion and interpersonal relationships, and increase overall stress resistance. The conducted research has confirmed the hypothesis put forward.
