Abstract
In the course of theoretical and empirical research, it was found that the volitional self-control of emotional reactions is in relationship with the meaning-life orientations of tub-infected convicts. We conducted an empirical study in the medical and correctional institution of the Federal penitentiary service of Russia in the Kirov region, in which 164 tub-infected convicts took part. We used testing methods, methods of mathematical statistics (correlation analysis). Processing of the obtained results was carried out in the program Psychometric Expert (version 9.1.0). The aim of the research is to study the influence of volitional self-control of emotional reactions of tub-infected convicts on the formation of their life orientations. The hypothesis of the study is that there is a close relationship between the volitional self-control of emotional reactions and the level of formation of meaning-life orientations of tub-infected convicts. The higher the level of volitional self-control of emotional reactions, the higher the level of formation of life orientations. Based on the empirical data, it is established that there is a close relationship between the volitional self-control of emotional reactions and the level of formation of meaning-life orientations of tub-infected convicts. The scale of General self-control is positively correlated with all the scales of the method of life orientations. Self-control is positively correlated with goals in life, the process of life, interest and emotional saturation, the locus of control-I, as well as with the overall indicator of meaningfulness of life. It is established that the scale of General self-control is in a positive correlation with all the scales of the method of life orientations. Considering the correlation of the perseverance scale, we note that it is positive with the scales "Goals in life", "life Process, interest and emotional saturation"," life Performance, satisfaction with self-realization"," Locus of control - I (I am the master of life)"," Locus of control-life, or manageability of life", "General indicator of meaningfulness of life".
